Elizabeth Y. Healy
Board President
Elizabeth Y. Healy is Vice President of Government and Community Relations at The Doctors Company, the nation’s largest physician owned medical professional liability insurer. In more than 30 years in government relations, she has been involved in political campaigns and fundraising, grassroots organizing, state government, and legislative advocacy in the United States and the United Kingdom. Elizabeth directs The Doctors Company Group’s award winning political and public policy advocacy strategies nationwide and in Washington, DC. She is also responsible for The Doctors Company’s corporate charitable giving program which is focused on addressing the social determinants of health and is the Executive Director of The Doctors Company Foundation which provides grants to advance patient safety research and education. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in social science from California State University, and studied international public policy at King’s College, University of London. She resides with her husband and daughter in Napa, California where she volunteers for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, and serves as Board President of Community Health Initiative. 
Andrea Flores
Board Vice President

Andrea Flores is an educator and administrator with over two decades of experience in secondary education, philanthropy, program management, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Vice President for Advancement at Justin-Siena High School in Napa, CA, Andrea has spearheaded transformative initiatives, including the successful completion of three capital campaigns and securing major gifts in support of innovative projects and operational excellence. Andrea’s expertise spans strategic planning, communications, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). She has led comprehensive DEIB initiatives in each of the high schools where she has worked, including the establishment of education access and scholarship programs and institutional change to promote equity. A bilingual professional who was a first generation college student, Andrea is deeply committed to fostering inclusive environments that drive social impact.

Juan Hernandez
Board Treasurer
Juan Hernandez is the CEO and co-founder of Creser Capital Fund, a mission-driven Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) focused on expanding access to capital for Latino entrepreneurs across California. Under Juan’s leadership, Creser has deployed millions in microloans and grants to underserved small business owners in Sonoma County, the Inland Empire, and beyond—offering fast, flexible capital where traditional systems fall short. Juan previously served as Executive Director of La Luz Center, a cornerstone Latino advocacy nonprofit in Sonoma Valley. There, he launched a pioneering microloan program in 2016 to support immigrant-owned businesses excluded from mainstream finance. His early success with grassroots lending laid the foundation for Creser Capital’s statewide impact. A seasoned nonprofit executive and economic justice advocate, Juan is widely recognized for building cross-sector partnerships, designing culturally responsive financial tools, and catalyzing community wealth-building. He is a Stanford LBAN (Latino Business Action Network) alum and continues to shape the future of Latino-led CDFIs through innovation, coalition building, and national advocacy. Juan brings a deep commitment to equity, a track record of entrepreneurial leadership, and lived experience that informs every aspect of his work.
Karen L. Smith, MD, MPH
Board Secretary

Karen Smith, MD, MPH is Sonoma County’s interim health officer. She specializes in infectious disease and public health and holds a master’s degree in public health. In 2015, she was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown as the California State Public Health Officer and Director of the California Department of Public Health. She previously served as Napa County's health officer and deputy director of Napa County Health and Human Services Agency, and as a member of the medical staff for infectious disease at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa. Prior to her work in Napa County, Karen served as deputy health officer and tuberculosis control officer for Santa Clara County. She completed her medical training and infectious diseases fellowship at Stanford University after earning a Master of Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public health. Prior to her public health and medical training, she served in the Peace Corps as public health laboratory director for the Marrakesh Province in Morocco, and at the Wichienburi Regional Hospital in Thailand. She was one of our founding board members.

Alok Bose, MD
Board Member

Alok K. Bose, MD is a pediatric cardiologist affiliated with multiple hospitals in the Bay Area, including UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center, NorthBay Health and Adventist Health. He has been in practice for more than 20 years and spent nine years as an active duty military service member. He received his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, completed a residency in pediatrics at Georgetown University and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of California, San Diego.

Holly Finkelstein
Board Member

Holly Finkelstein is the proprietor of Judd’s Hill and the Fink. She holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and is a native of Southern California. Before falling in love with wine and her husband, Judd Finkelstein, Holly served as the Program Officer of Steven Spielberg’s Righteous Persons Foundation, a philanthropic fund based in Los Angeles. As an involved member of the Napa Valley community, Holly has served on various committees for the Napa Valley Vintners Association, the board of the Napa Community Health Initiative, is a graduate of Leadership Napa Valley, and was named one of the “40 under 40” Business Leaders by the North Bay Business Journal. Holly loves working in the family business and if you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of her putting her background of dance to use as a performer in local ballet productions or dancing the hula.

Nevada Griffin, MPH
Board Member

Nevada Griffin, MPH is the Chief Growth Officer at ConcertoCare, a value-based in-home provider of care for individuals with complex medical and social care needs. Nevada leads ConcertoCare’s efforts across growth strategy, business development, partner success, and marketing. Prior to joining ConcertoCare, Nevada was co-head of Uber Health, a tech-enabled healthcare transportation and delivery platform focused on expanding access to care for those who need it most. Before Uber Health, he held a position at McKinsey & Company's healthcare practice where he advised U.S. healthcare leaders at payors, providers, and public agencies Nevada holds a joint Master’s in Health Policy and Administration (MPH) and International Affairs (MA) from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Global Affairs from Bard College. Since 2016, he has been a member of the Board of Advisors for the Bard Center for Civic Engagement.

Mike McClure
Board Member

Mike McClure is the Senior Director, Human Resources for The Permanente Medical Group,Inc. Mike has over 30 years of experience in human resources, with expertise in HR consulting, HR operations, policy development compliance, disability management, employment and labor relations, shared services, finance, communications, and workforce planning and development.He began his HR career in manufacturing, with 10 years of experience as HR Manager and Personnel Director for Owens-Illinois in North  Riverside and Chicago, IL, and Fairfield, CA. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and a law degree from DePaul University College of Law, and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at the Harvard School of Business.

 

Oscar Robles
Past President

Oscar Robles is Vice President, Resident Director for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. As a proactive advisor fluent in English and Spanish, Oscar helps clients plan and prepare for circumstances they anticipate and those they don’t. Before joining Merrill in 2015, he spent eight years at Met Life. He holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, CPFATM designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) and a place in his heart for serving others. Oscar serves as a board member of HOLA (Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement), the oldest and largest Bank of America Employee Network. He is an annual speaker to incoming Latino transfer students at Santa Clara State University, offering a “financial boot camp” with helpful tips and advice. He is also active with the Hispanic Bar Association and leads outreach for The Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Association. Well acquainted with hard work, Oscar grew up in Juarez, Mexico. His grandfather was a migrant farm worker and his dad trained greyhounds and horses. After moving to Salinas with his mother, Oscar’s father joined them and opened an auto body shop, where Oscar’s time working as a teenager taught him the value of building financial skills. The first in his family to attend college, Oscar graduated from San Francisco State University with Bachelors degrees in Cinema and Anthropology. Today, Oscar and his wife, Pamela, reside in Napa with their son and two daughters.
